Vacation!

It's July! Everyone is ready to jump into the sea. Many famous tourist attractions like Fiji Island, Jamaica , etc are already full of tourists.

I'm planning to go to Germany for this summer vacation. Nonetheless to say, Hamburg, the harbor city is a necessary place o visit, aside from Berlin, the capital. My whole family is leaving on July 10th, and we are so excited.

My younger sister and I did some research about Germany. Germany is located in the center of European continent, and has total area of 357.021 km(square). It's population is composed of Germans and few Turkish and other ethnics. Their population is 14th biggest in the world. The GDP, an indicator known as one to measure the wealth, is 5th highest in the world. Also, since Germany is a member of European Union, it adopted single European currency, the Euro. Also, Frankfurt is a major financial center, seat of the European Central Bank, and a global aviation hub. In addition, Hamburg is the second largest port in Europe (the first biggest is Amsterdam in Netherland).

In addition to its proud reputation of economy, culture, and politics, Germans also invest a large amount of money in international travel and domestic vacation trips. The infrastructure such as train is really well organized in Germany to facilitate tourist industry as well as other industries.

Lastly, my younger sister and I studied some basic German to avoid embarrassing situation on our travel. Though I heard that most Germans can understand English, it is always better to try to speak their own, native language when you're on travel. Luckily, my younger sister learned some German in her school, and she was able to teach me how to pronunciate German words.
